Pumas vs. Puebla was close to splitting points if it weren’t for Guillermo Martínez’s goal in the second half in a match corresponding to Matchday 8 of the Liga MX Apertura 2024 that took place at the Estadio Olímpico Universitario de CU
It was a solitary goal by Guillermo Martínez that gave the UNAM team the three points, at 72′, after an assist by César ‘Chino’ Huerta and which broke a negative streak of three consecutive losses for the auriazul team.

Pumas will now host Xolos de Tijuana this Sunday, September 22, while La Franja will play at home two days earlier against Pachuca.
