The Pukkelpop organization is planning an extra one-day festival this summer. That will take place on Sunday 14 August, the weekend before the start of the actual Pukkelpop. They do not want to say much about the concrete implementation of this. “That will become clear in the next two weeks,” it sounds. It is certain that music will be central.

Festival-goers can look forward to a well-filled summer after two empty years. Tomorrowland already announced its third weekend in July and has teamed up with Rock Werchter for the brand new CORE Festival, which will take place at the end of May in the Ossegem Park in Brussels. Werchter Boutique and TW Classic, which will have two editions this year, are also planned on the Werchter festival site.
There is Graspop, Dour, and now the organization of Pukkelpop is also announcing an extra festival. A small one indeed, that will only last one day. It is not yet clear whether this will also happen at the same festival site in Kiewit, Hasselt. The organization does not want to reveal much about the event yet. The animal has not yet had a name, nor a line-up. Only the date is known: Sunday 14 August, just four days before the start of Pukkelpop. No artists have yet been announced either and we only know the dates, 18 to 21 August.
The organization says it will communicate soon, as was also teased on social media. A first message would follow on Monday. Presumably the first names will be announced then.
