–
In the context of the water crisis affecting Puerto Iguazú, This Friday a complaint was filed with the Prosecutor’s Office of the Investigative Court No. 3 of Puerto Iguazú requesting an investigation into whether there was breach of the duties of a public official by the authorities of the Missionary Institute of Water and Sanitation (IMAS) and the Provincial Regulatory Body of Water and Sewers (EPRAC).
As posted by the site LaVozdeCataratas the presentation was made by lawyer Gustavo Fernández as a result of the lack of water that was registered since the first days of April in the city and that extended in some neighborhoods for a week.
In addition to the report requests, the lawyer requests an independent audit of specialized engineering experts be ordered, to determine the causes of the cuts and if they occurred due to unforeseen circumstances, inexperience, negligence or if they could be avoided, by the competent authorities.
