Puebla. Tromba leaves San Antonio Cañada without electricity

More than 50 families from the municipality of San Antonio Cañada were left without electricity service, due to the fall of ten poles of the Federal Electricity Commission, which were damaged by the passage of the strong current of water that was formed by the fall of a waterspout.

Municipal Civil Protection reported that the torrential downpour that fell last night caused the formation of large flows of water that passed through the ravine that is in that municipal head, damaging local roads.

This Wednesday morning, Civil Protection personnel from Tehuacán began a tour of the area to know the damage caused by the waterspout.

According to the first reports from neighbors, the flows that were formed in various points of the municipal head, took cattle and poultry.

No damage to homes is reported, however municipal authorities have called on residents, especially those who have their homes near the ravine, to be attentive to the behavior of the rain and if necessary, they go to the shelter that is in the center of the town.
