Publishing books in Peru and Spain
Nowadays, publishing an article, a quote, an essay or a book or set of books, in electronic form, has become a very common practice. There is not always the assurance that deliveries are of optimal quality and discernment.
Without the electronic format replacing the printed one, it is possible to opt for that path that also has detractors.
Umberto Eco, the notable Italian author of multiple essays, bitterly condemned those who use the Internet without restraint and less talent.
The objective note that we publish accounts for the successful effort of the Peruvian lawyer Zully Pinchi Ramírez, who has participated in more than 4 collective books published in print in Spain and has essays and articles in preparation for many others in the remainder of 2023. .
Zully explains to us about the genesis of his writing vein. “I saved so many chronicles until I decided to publish them formally and professionally more than a decade ago, I never wanted to hide my talent and have it only as a hobby.
It is not an offense to be a poet, antagonist and protagonist of your own story, it is not bad to be a lawyer, a businesswoman, to help others in social issues for 18 years as I have been doing, it is not bad for a modern, empowered woman of the century XXI to also be an artist of the word, of pencil and paper, of the machine and rhetoric”.
How did the experience in Spain start? Zully tells us:
“The poems The nights I dreamed of you, To Don Quixote my treasure of Fidelity, Beloved prince enchanted I am at your feet and you have not noticed it, are some of the ones that the Spanish public liked the most. Iberian writers have read and recognized me.
Important proof is that they continue to summon me to be part of group publishing projects in the land of Federico García Lorca, of Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra who gave me a gift to one of my best friends, Don Quixote”.
Tell us about the public exhibitions. Zully reports:
“In Spain I have been able to publish and be at the presentations of three books with more than 500 people at each event, I participated in the Madrid Book Fair and I also went on tour with my European colleagues through beautiful Iberian cities.
I list the titles in case of any doubt: Impossible Not To Eat In The Volcano Of Rogue Loves (2019), Of The Ropes Of Happiness Love By Example To Never Beat Us (2020), A Time Out Of Time The Dance Of Infinity (2020 ).
I remember the morning my literary agent in Madrid called me to tell me how many readers were fascinated by the story of the love triangle that I published in the collective book Impossible No Comerse En El Volcán De Los Amores Canallas.”
How are we going home?
“Here in Peru, my beloved homeland, I published 113 Crónicas De Una Pasión (2019) at the first Chimbote International Book Fair with hundreds of attendees and going on tour to various cities until the covid19 confinement prevented me from continuing with the presentations. literary,” Zully says.
What can you tell us about Pionono de vitrina?
“Pionono de Vitrina’s collection of poems was a success and I’m not saying it, it was proclaimed by the bestseller. But that it caused attraction, sensation and satisfaction, I don’t doubt it for a moment, it was enough to see the reactions of people, having full interactions, full of love, kisses, words with affection and great respect”, to the author His eyes light up when he remembers the event.
This time, we tell Zully, the stage shock was with your people. How did you feel about the experience?
“We filled the room the day of the presentation, I was sorry that more than three hundred people were left outside queuing without being able to enter. Already on stage, my dread, fear, stage fright dissipated, and all the passion that I have had since I started writing at the age of 8, when I wrote all my poems and letters, kept them in a little box that therefore I loved how the presentation of my collection of poems turned out, so sweet, so romantic, so authentic, so me”, reports the writer.
“I simply decided to be myself -adds Zully-, smile, receive and give thousands of hugs to everyone during the time the fair lasted, I carried my banner with the advertising of my collection of poems Pionono de Vitrina I put it together in the mornings and took it apart very late at night.
I would stand at my stand and receive everyone, the boy, the bong, the young woman who was about to graduate, the happy schoolgirls, the women who run the communal pots of Villa María Del Triunfo, a nice grandfather, to the most common of citizens, as well as to the most famous in the circles of art, stories, chronicles, rhymes and verse”.
