Retroactivity
As a result, the NS has not invoiced 1 million euros. This will be done retroactively. The approximately 100,000 passengers involved owe the NS an average of ten euros, according to the spokesman.
The fact that the disruption was not noticed by the Dutch Railways was due to the corona measures. As a result of the lockdown, there were far fewer travelers and therefore a huge drop in the number of billed services across the board. Therefore, the deviation was not noticed.
