With a public search, the investigators are looking for an arsonist in Salzkotten in the Paderborn district. On the surveillance video published by the homicide commission, a previously unknown hooded person can be seen who had set a fire in a residential and commercial building on Sunday night. Investigations are being made into five cases of serious arson in conjunction with attempted murder. At the time of the crime, residents were sleeping in the upper part of the building. They were able to leave the building in the early morning hours on Easter Sunday. Witnesses saw two men flee the scene.
