After two EC card thefts and subsequent cash withdrawals in September 2020, the police are now publicly looking for two perpetrators. According to the police, the public prosecutor’s office had issued the decisions on the public search. The police are now hoping for clues about both perpetrators. Witnesses can call 0251/2750.
At the beginning of September 2020, a previously unknown perpetrator stole an EC card and associated pin from a 76-year-old’s mailbox. The thief then used the card several times between September 11 and 19, withdrew money and made purchases, according to a police report. There was a financial loss of around 8,000 euros.
Young man wanted
According to a police report, the man is around 18 to 25 years old, slim and has black hair. At the time of the crime, he was dressed in a camouflage jacket, blue jeans and black Nike sneakers.
