Public Relations Officer – Senckenberg Society for Nature Research (SGN) – Frankfurt am Main

The Senckenberg Society for Nature Research (SGN) was founded in 1817 and is one of the most important research institutions for all aspects of biological diversity. The LOEWE Center for Translational Biodiversity Genomics (LOEWE TBG, www.tbg.senckenberg.de) is supported jointly with the Goethe University Frankfurt, the Justus Liebig University Gießen and the Fraunhofer Institute for Molecular Biology and Applied Ecology, with the aim of to conduct intensive basic and applied research in the field of biodiversity genomics. A new and taxonomically broad genome collection is to be established, the genomic and functional diversity of the entire tree of life is to be examined and genomic resources to be made available for demand-oriented applied research.

The Senckenberg Society for Nature Research and the LOEWE Center for Translational Biodiversity Genomics are looking for a maternity and parental leave replacement at the Frankfurt location as soon as possible

· You develop communication concepts and implement them to present the work of the LOEWE Center TBG for different target groups.

· You organize scientific and public (digital) events and represent LOEWE TBG there.

· They promote the internal communication of the project participants through different formats.
