Public Movement “Grandchildren” Requests Cancellation of Anzhelika Varum’s Concerts in Russia Due to Immoral Behavior

The behavior of the singer Anzhelika Varum is immoral, her concerts in Russia should be cancelled. This is stated in the appeal of the public movement “Grandchildren” to the Governor of the Moscow Region Andrey Vorobyov.

“The international public movement “Grandchildren” considers it unacceptable and immoral to allow Varum M. Yu. (real name of the singer Maria. — EADaily) and similar artists to carry out commercial activities on the territory of the Russian Federation”, — stated in the appeal.

Anzhelika Varum’s show is scheduled for April 29 at the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Region. Tickets for the concert are still on sale on the website of the venue and operators.

It should be noted that in March 2022, Anzhelika Varum condemned the launched special operation in two languages ​​- Russian and Ukrainian. At the same time, Varum planned several concerts in Russia. She is going to perform with her husband Leonid Agutin April 26 in Saratov and September 15 in Rostov-on-Don.

The artist has not yet commented on the appeal of the public.

The corresponding appeal was sent to the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov.
