The Ministry of Public Health reports that this Saturday, December 5, four new deaths were registered due to COVID-19.
The deceased are: an 86-year-old woman, a native of Rivadavia, who was hospitalized at the Santa Clara Clinic; an 85-year-old woman from Chimbas, admitted to the Santa Clara Clinic; a 73-year-old man from Rivadavia, admitted to the Dr. Guillermo Rawson Hospital; and a 44-year-old man from Rawson, admitted to the Dr. Guillermo Rawson Hospital.
The Government of San Juan conveys its condolences to relatives, friends and relatives and accompanies them in this painful moment.
It is also reported that until 8:00 p.m. on the date, the following official numbers of coronavirus cases were registered in San Juan:
- New cases: 156
- Total confirmed: 12,151
- Patients with infectious process: 3,150
- Deceased persons (accumulated): 260
- Recovered: 8,741
- Negative test: 285

181 patients are admitted to the COVID-19 areas (between positives and suspects) of the Dr. Guillermo Rawson hospitals; Dr. Marcial Quiroga; Dr. Ventura Lloveras, from Sarmiento; Dr. César Aguilar, from Caucete; Dr. José Giordano, from Albardón; Dr. Federico Cantoni, from Pocito; CEMEC; Dr. Julieta Lanteri; Private hospital; Medical Institute; El Castaño Clinic; Santa Clara Clinic; Sanatorium San Juan; Argentine Sanatorium and CCI.
Remain interned in the Critical Area: 104 patients, 36 of whom are on mechanical ventilation.
