PTT establishes subsidiary “AC Energy Solutions” to invest in battery assembly factory. Using Cell-To-Pack (CTP) technology, a budget of 1,851 million baht is expected for commercial production in 2024 to support the expansion of the electric vehicle market in Thailand.
Mr. Atthaphon Rerkpiboon, Chief Executive Officer and President of PTT Public Company Limited, revealed that the Board of Directors of Arun Plus Company Limited, a subsidiary in which PTT indirectly holds 100% of shares, has resolved to approve Arun. Plus established AC Energy Solution Company Limited with a registered capital of not more than 1,851 million baht, with Arun Plus holding 100 percent of the shares to operate a battery assembly factory. Using Cell-To-Pack (CTP) technology to support the expansion of the electric vehicle market in Thailand. This is in line with PTT Group’s investment strategy in the future energy business.
Company registration was completed on January 3, 2024, and production is planned to begin within 2024.
