PT Pertamina Adjusts Non-Subsidized Fuel Prices: Pertamax Turbo, Pertamina Dex, and Dexlite Increase

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – PT Pertamina (Persero) made adjustments to the price of non-subsidized fuel oil (BBM). This price adjustment takes effect starting tomorrow, Tuesday (1/8/2023).

The price increase occurred for Pertamax Turbo, Pertamina Dex and Dexlite fuel types. Meanwhile, the prices for Pertalite, Pertamax and Pertamina BioSolar fuels have not changed.

The price adjustment is in accordance with Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Decree (Kepmen) No. 245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022 as an amendment to Ministerial Decree No. 62 K/12/MEM/2020 concerning Basic Price Formulas in Calculating Retail Selling Prices for General Types of Fuel Oil Types of Gasoline and Diesel Oil Distributed Through Public Fuel Filling Stations.

Quoting the company’s official website, Monday (31/7/2023), the price increase for Pertamina’s non-subsidized fuel is around Rp. 400-Rp. 800 per liter.

For the Jabodetabek area (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi), the price of Pertamax Turbo fuel has increased by IDR 400 to IDR 14,400 per liter from the previous IDR 14,000 per liter.

Then Dexlite rose by IDR 800 to IDR 13,950 per liter from the previous IDR 13,150 per liter. Then Pertamina Dex increased by IDR 800 to IDR 14,350 per liter from the previous IDR 13,550 per liter.

In detail, the following details the latest Pertamina fuel prices that apply in Jabodetabek as of 1 July 2023:

Pertalite: IDR 10,000 per liter Pertamax: IDR 12,400 per liter Pertamax Turbo: IDR 14,400 per liter Dexlite: IDR 13,950 per liter Pertamina Dex: IDR 14,350 per liter Pertamina BioSolar: IDR 6,800 per liter
