PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia-China (KCIC) announced that it has set the ticket price for the Jakarta-Bandung Fast Train or Whoosh at IDR 300 thousand. This rate is still a promotional rate.
PT KCIC Corporate Secretary Eva Chairunisa said that the public can now order tickets from October 18 onwards. These rates apply to all routes and are free Feeder Trains to and from Bandung Station.
“The travel routes served by the Whoosh Fast Train are Halim-Padalarang pp and Halim – Tegalluar pp,” said Eva, in a written statement, Saturday (14/10/2023).
Eva said that the tariff policy was determined through various studies, surveys and looking at phenomena and needs in society. This promo is given to introduce the Whoosh Fast Train service to the public so that people are interested and use Whoosh for their transportation needs.
For people who are interested, they can order Whoosh Fast Train tickets via:
1. Website ticket.kcic.co.id
• Orders from H-7 to 1 hour before departure
• Payment via bank transfer, QRIS, E-Wallet, credit card and retail outlets.
• Passengers get a QR Code which can be used immediately for boarding without needing to exchange physical tickets at the station.
2. Ticket Vending Machine at the Station
• Orders from D-7 to 30 minutes before departure
• Payment through QRIS
• Passengers get physical tickets.
3. Counter
• Orders from D-7 to 30 minutes before departure
• Payment via cash, debit, credit card and QRIS.
• Passengers get physical tickets.
Apart from that, later the public will also be able to order orders via the Whoosh Fast Train application and other applications such as Access by KAI, Livin by Mandiri, BRImo, and BNI Mobile Banking. However, this access will only start on October 17 2023, to coincide with the inauguration of the first operation of the paid Whoosh Fast Train directly from China.
“To date, there have been around 4,800 seats reserved for group or group travel through official applications,” he said.
Eva added, KCIC will also provide attractive promotions such as group discounts, senior discounts, travel packages in collaboration with tourist locations, hotels, event organizers and others.
Whoosh Fast Train passengers also get free Feeder Train travel whose schedule has been adjusted to the arrival and departure schedule of the Whoosh Fast Train. The Feeder Train will stop at Padalarang, Cimahi and Bandung stations.
The entire Whoosh Fast Train and Feeder Train travel schedule to and from Bandung Station can be seen on the ID Fast Train Social Media and the kcic.co.id website.
