Through a point of agreement that will register the Permanent Commission this week, the coordinator of the Parliamentary Group of the Labor Party will request the Secretary of Education that, in case of detecting possible cases of Covid-19 in schools, the necessary measures be taken, as the application of SARS-CoV-2 virus screening tests, to avoid sources of contagion in schools and immediately inform parents.
“Our girls, boys and adolescents are essential for us, therefore their return to face-to-face classes is of fundamental importance to generate sanitary and security conditions. Despite the enormous effort made by both teachers and students when taking online classes, It is undeniable that due to the inequalities of the country the learning of many students was skewed ”, highlights the legislator.
Thus, it is essential to think about reopening schools gradually and under the strictest prevention and risk mitigation measures, to avoid exposing students; in addition to seeking solutions that remedy the lag suffered.
