Jakarta –
President Director of PT Danareksa (Persero) Yadi Jaya Ruchandi opened up about the fate of 15 BUMN who is a ‘patient’, aka being handled by the PT Asset Management Company (PPA). PPA is a subsidiary of Danareksa.
According to Yadi, the number of BUMNs that are PPA ‘patients’ will decrease.
“From my perspective, it will generally decrease, it will definitely decrease, either it will be closed or merged,” said Yadi in the Central Jakarta area, Tuesday (2/4/2024).
Yadi was reluctant to talk in more detail about these BUMNs. He asked that this be asked of the PPA.
From Danareksa’s side, he said, his party wants there to be acceleration. The acceleration referred to is the clear fate of these BUMNs.
“If you want the details, maybe go to PPA, but from our side Danareksa’s direction, there must be acceleration, because it has been handled there for a long time, it was handed over to us at the end of 2020, let’s say 2021. And it has gone through ups and downs, COVID is over too,” explained Yadi.
He considered that this acceleration was needed. This is because PPA needs to prepare themselves for other work.
“I said there should be an acceleration because the PPA needs to be there, we need to prepare ourselves again, because there is still a lot of PR from other BUMNs, there is still a lot that has not been completed,” said Yadi.
According to detikcom records last December 2023, PPA managed 22 BUMN. Of the 22 BUMNs, 7 BUMNs have been dissolved.
The 7 BUMNs that were disbanded were PT Kertas Leces (Persero), PT Merpati Nusantara Airlines (Persero), PT Industri Sandang Nusantara (Persero), PT Istaka Karya (Persero), PT Industri Gelas (Persero), PT Kertas Kraft Aceh (Persero) , PT Financing Armada Niaga Nasional (Persero) or PANN.
“To date, we have 22 BUMNs that have been given special powers of attorney to us to carry out whether they are restructuring, being healthy or dissolving,” said PPA Main Director M Teguh Wirahadikusumah at Danareksa Tower, Jakarta, last Friday (29/12/2023). .
At that time, he said, if these 7 BUMNs had been dissolved, there would still be 15 BUMNs left that needed handling. “If these 7 (BUMN) are finished, there are still 15 remaining,” said Teguh.
