Psychomotor education in preschool education dominated the debates of a national conference organized on Thursday by the Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Initiated in partnership with Unesco, the National Commission for Education, Science and Culture and the Royal Moroccan Federation of School Sports, this event aims to promote the psychomotor education project, raise awareness among educational stakeholders in the preschool to its role in the development and improvement of motor skills of children aged 4 to 6, as well as their sensorimotor skills, we told the organizers.
This meeting is part of the implementation of the national program for the generalization and development of preschool education, launched in July 2018 under the high patronage of HM King Mohammed VI with the sign “our future does not wait. pas ”, and the provisions of the framework law relating to the education, training and scientific research system, in particular the 4th integrated project relating to the education of people with disabilities.
It was marked by the presentation of scientific presentations on the curricular framework of psychomotor education in preschool, the strengthening of the child’s motor skills through games, inclusive education in preschool, in addition to workshops on inclusive education.
According to a press release from the organizers, a new reference guide for psychomotor education has been drawn up with a view to supplementing the guides prepared by the ministry in the field of preschool education.
The conference was attended by executives from the Ministry of National Education, representatives from UNESCO and the National Commission for Education, Science and Culture, and researchers in psychomotor education.
