With the aim of providing psychological support and counseling services, the National Center for the Promotion of Mental Health and the Martyrs, Injured, Prisoners and Missing Fund in Riyadh yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen partnership and develop cooperation between the two parties in serving common goals, and to prepare and implement plans and programs in areas of common interest, especially in the psychological and social fields for the families of martyrs. Al-Muammar explained that the memorandum that was signed with the center aims to limit the data and information and find out the needs and supplies necessary for the families of the martyrs, the injured, the prisoners and the missing, which will contribute to building educational and preventive evidence in the field of mental health for the beneficiaries, and providing psychological counseling and psychological support service, and ensuring that it reaches the beneficiaries during the service. telephone, or other available services, in addition to training and development to deal with beneficiary groups, and coordination and follow-up of the Fund’s services.

For his part, Dr. Al-Habib confirmed that the center pays great attention to this group, and feels a patriotic duty towards them, seeking to provide appropriate preventive services according to what specialists in this field see, as this memorandum will in turn contribute to accelerating work and communication between the center and the Fund.

It is noteworthy that the Martyrs and Injured Fund is concerned with providing various and sustainable services with innovative and technical solutions, and providing aid and care to the families of martyrs, injured, prisoners, missing persons and their legal dependents, as well as doing charitable work, the reward of which will return to them, God willing.
