The Kirikou Health Network is an intersectoral and community network that implements the new mental health policy for children and adolescents in the province of Namur. The network favors a global and integrated approach. It is aimed at children and adolescents who have a mental health problem, as well as their entourage and the many stakeholders involved. With this in mind, L’@tribu Mobile was created. This mobile team is multidisciplinary (psychologists, AS, educators, child psychiatrists, etc.). It is made up of people from different sectors, partners of the Kirikou Health Network (AVIQ, Youth Assistance, Mental Health, general hospitals, ONE and INAMI agreements, etc.). Its purpose is to provide a clinical response focused on the beneficiary, their needs and those of their entourage in the young person’s place of residence.

CONTRACT : Full time – Replacement contract
The KIRIKOU Health Network is launching a call for applications for two psychosocial workers who will join its long-term mobile team: Full-time – Replacement contract – Bachelor’s degree assistant in psychology, social worker, nurse, educator, Master’s degree in psychology – Weekday schedule 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Tasks/missions:
The psychosocial worker will integrate L’@tribu Mobile into the Long-Term mobile system.
The worker in the long-term system provides care and support to the beneficiaries in care, taking into account the beneficiary’s environment, the relatives present and the other professionals involved. These tasks must be carried out as close as possible to the living environment, throughout the province, alone or in co-intervention. This implies mobility.
The psychosocial worker at L’@tribu Mobile organizes his work in consultation with his colleagues and under the functional and clinical responsibility of the Steering Committee composed of child psychiatrists and team leaders.
An interest in the clinic and knowledge of mental health and the Namur network are necessary to participate in the continuity and quality of a specialized care pathway; this is in order to support the young person or adolescent in a personalized project.
These tasks require flexibility, autonomy, the ability to adapt to stressful and crisis situations, dynamism, rigor, organizational skills, interpersonal skills, openness to change, and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary and intersectoral team.
Profile sought, Skills, Training, Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social worker, nurse, educator; Master’s degree in psychology;
• Professional experience in relation to children and/or adolescents;
• Interest in clinical work with early childhood (the first 1000 days);
• Interest in clinical practice and knowledge of mental health. Additional training related to mental health practice would be an asset;
• Knowledge of the Namur network (added value);
• Flexibility, autonomy, interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team;
• Driving license B and car.
Conditions of employment:
– CDR 1 ETP / 38 hours per week (hours from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.);
– Commitment as quickly as possible
– Employer’s salary conditions – immediate engagement – 5 years’ seniority maximum
