“I have had many occasions to think about the question why the tests for psychological fitness for some more specific positions related to working with people are not widely applied in our country. I also include managerial ones.
This is really important. It is not a question of “catching” psychoses, ie. severe mental disorders. They are subject only to psychiatry. The word here is for something else. With these tests it can be established in time whether a person is exactly psychologically adapted to bear the respective responsibilities, whether he will not decompensate due to very pronounced personality traits.
Everyone insists on the so-called psycho-tests for carrying a weapon. And they should be done, at least in my opinion. They are also made when issuing a driving license – professional category.
And for the rule of law when? “
