The single “That That” topped iTunes’ Top Song Chart in 73 countries including the United States, Japan and Canada the day after its release last Friday. The music video for his megahit “Gangnam Style” scored 4.4 billion views on YouTube the day before the ninth studio album was released.

The song with its horse dance was a global phenomenon in 2012, long before the rise of K-pop superstar group Bangtan Boys (BTS). The single “Gangnam Style” has been instrumental in promoting K-pop in the global music market.

Regarding the time he took before presenting this new album, more precisely five years, Psy indicated that it is impossible to satisfy everyone, each to his own tastes which are quite subjective and he consulted many people to modify the songs, which also took a lot of time. He added that he consulted 40 or 50 people until they said “perfect” before finalizing his music.
