Long starts an anti-Feyenoord chant that comes from Ajax; Luuk de Jong gets involved

Noa Lang almost caused a huge controversy on Monday night. The PSV striker took the microphone on the stage of the Stadhuisplein in Eindhoven and was about to start a hate song about Feyenoord. Luuk de Jong intervened at the last minute.

“It’s just…” Lang shouted into the microphone on stage, before falling silent.

In 2010, Jan Vertonghen started with those same three words after winning the KNVB Cup with Ajax. “I have a nice song for you… They’re just shitty cockroaches!”, Vertonghen shouted at the time. The former Ajax player was then handed a three match ban, one of which was on contract.

Luuk de Jong didn’t let it get that far at PSV’s championship party. The Eindhoven team captain took the microphone away from Lang before he could finish his song.

Lang then performed a small part of his own song 7k at your party in hearing. Jordan Teze later sang part of the song as well.

Lang has made mistakes before

Lang crossed the line at the Club Brugge 2021 championship party. The striker sang on stage in Belgium ‘I’d rather be dead than a Sports Jew’, referring to the rival (Sport ) Anderlecht.

Three years ago, Lang faced a two-game suspension, but it ended up being another punishment. The former Ajax player had to visit Kazerne Dossin in Mechelen, a deportation camp during the Second World War.
