Earlier this week, Sony is said to have unveiled the upcoming VR headset for PlayStation 5 during a developer conference.
Reports from this conference say that this headset goes by the code name Next-gen VR (NGVR) and its controls should not only be able to detect if you keep your fingers in control but also how far you extend your fingers. Sony should also have mentioned that they strive to offer some form of VR support in future major game releases like what Resident Evil 7 did.
Headsets are said to have two OLED screens with 2000 x 2040 pixels for each eye, which then becomes 4K resolution in total. The headset’s field of view should also be 110 degrees, which is ten degrees more than the current PSVR.
