According to PSV coach Peter Bosz, Ismael Saibari has a closed eye and a dizzy feeling after the away match against Heracles Almelo (0-6). The attacker came on halfway, but had to be substituted quickly.
Saibari unfortunately got a ball in his eye in Almelo. The PSV player was treated, but could not continue. His performance lasted only a few minutes.
Afterwards, Bosz could only say at the press conference that Saibari has a closed eye and that the attacker feels dizzy. Nothing more is known about the medical condition of the 22-year-old Moroccan for the time being.
Furthermore, PSV had a flawless evening. Bosz wanted to say something about Joey Veerman, about whom in his opinion there was too much talk last week. “What I said was completely taken out of context,” grumbled the PSV coach. “What nonsense that was.”
“I was asked something about the fact that he stood with his arms in the air during a match. And then I said that he needs to switch faster. So much is made about it through the media. That’s laughable. As a player does a good job, I say that. And if he doesn’t do a good job, I say that too. And then we move on.”
PSV now focuses on the Champions League meeting with RC Lens. The French disappointed on Saturday with a 0-0 draw at Lorient. PSV-Lens starts on Wednesday at 9 p.m. The people of Eindhoven need a victory to keep a good eye on wintering in the champions ball.
