Vertessen is already in Berlin, but PSV is suddenly looking for a transfer

PSV does not want Yorbe Vertessen to leave for FC Union Berlin yet, Voetbal International reported on Monday afternoon. The attacker was already on his way to the Bundesliga, but due to the injury of Noa Lang, the Eindhoven team has put the transfer on hold for the time being.
Vertessen is currently waiting in Berlin until PSV gives him permission to make the switch. The Belgian can sign with Union Berlin, but the Eindhoven team wants to wait with the final signature because PSV seems to be looking for a replacement for Lang.

Vertessen went through PSV’s youth academy and made his debut in the main squad in February 2021. In the past 3 years he has played 102 matches on behalf of the leader in all competitions. Vertessen never developed into a permanent force and was loaned out to Union Sint-Gillis for a few months last season.
