Kenneth Perez is full of praise for PSV talent Tygo Land. The eighteen-year-old midfielder was allowed to come on for Joey Veerman ten minutes before the end. Land is the absolute standout at Jong PSV in the Kitchen Champion Division this season.

“I’m happy that Land was allowed to come on,” Perez says afterwards ESPN. “Nice to see him again. In an ideal world he would have had all those minutes that Mauro Júnior had, of course he (Land, ed.) should have had them.” Land has made nineteen minutes in the Eredivisie so far.
“He has to earn that,” Perez continues. “He did not do that. It is up to him to make the minutes for the twelfth and thirteenth men next season. If he can make the minutes of Mauro Júnior, he will also develop more,” Perez concludes.

So far, Land has scored four goals and three assists at Jong PSV. He is still waiting for his first goal in the main squad.
