PSV has finally managed to secure a central defender. Adamo Nagalo comes over from the Danish FC Nordsjaelland. He signed a contract until 2029 on Monday.
“When PSV came along, I didn’t hesitate for a moment,” says Ademo. “PSV is the right club for me at the right time. It’s great to be here. I could hardly sleep last night because I’m so excited about this adventure.”
Career
The player plays for the Burkina Faso national team. He has played fifteen international matches for the African country.
The Burkinabe, born in Ivory Coast, was scouted by the Danish club in 2020 in the Right to Dream-academie in Ghana, where former Ajax player Mohammed Kudus was also trained.
At the Danish club, he became a regular from his second season and played 93 matches, scoring four times. The central defender had a contract with the Danes until 2027. The transfer yields a record sum for FC Nordsjaelland.
The 21-year-old player (he will turn 22 in three weeks) was spotted at his medical examination on Sunday afternoon.
