PSV fans barred from attending matches for 40 years.

Sevilla goalkeeper Marko Dmitrovic was attacked in the Europa League.

Now the PSV supporter has received his verdict.

He is suspended for 40 years.

It was at the end of February that Sevilla beat PSV in the Europa League (3–2 over the doubleheader).

But in the second leg in the Netherlands, scandalous scenes unfolded as a 20-year-old PSV supporter stormed the pitch and attacked Sevilla’s Marko Dmitrovic.

Among other things, he punched the goalkeeper in the face.

– There are idiots who attack, this should not happen and I hope he is punished, said Dmitrovic after the match.

The man was sentenced to prison for two months – but now he has received a significantly longer sentence.

“Should never have been there”

The supporter will be banned from the home arena Philips Stadion for 40 years, the club announced on its website website.

“He should never have been there because there was already a two-year access ban,” writes the club.

The man managed to get into the arena using a ticket bought by a friend.

Sevilla progressed and now play in the quarter-finals of the Europa League – where they face Manchester United on April 13.
