Noa Lang, 24, has been a shining star for Club Brügge for the past three seasons. Now it is clear that the winger will continue his career in the Netherlands.
On Saturday it became official that PSV Eindhoven signed Lang. According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, the price tag lands at 15 million euros, corresponding to approximately 178 million Swedish kronor, which makes him the Dutch club’s most expensive new acquisition ever.
– There have been some nervous moments, but now I am very happy that everything is ready. I am eager to win titles and I want to be an important player for the team, he told PSV’s website.
The contract runs until June 2028.
The transition can also be seen as somewhat sensitive, as Noa Lang made his way through worst rival Ajax and their academy. In Amsterdam, he made it all the way to the first team, where he also got to make his senior debut.
In total, Noa Lang was noted for 38 goals and 34 assists in 125 games in the Club Brügge shirt. The merit list also includes seven caps for the Netherlands.
