PSV plays against Borussia Dortmund in the eighth finals of the Champions League. The draw showed this on Monday.
The first match will be played on February 13, 14, 20 or 21, 2024. The return is on March 5, 6, 12 or 13. UEFA will announce later this week on which exact dates the matches will be played.
Borussia Dortmund is having a mediocre season. The club, which lost the national title to Bayern Munich last season, is in fifth place in the Bundesliga. ‘BVB’ fared a lot better in the Champions League. In a group with Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan and Newcastle United, the team surprisingly became group winner.
PSV is having a top year. The club is the leader in the Eredivisie without having lost a single point in the sixteen games played. On Sunday, coach Peter Bosz’s team defeated AZ 0-4.
In addition, PSV qualified for the last sixteen of the Champions League in a group with Arsenal, RC Lens and Sevilla as number two. It is the first time since the 2015/2016 season that the Eindhoven team has reached the eighth finals of the billion dollar ball.

Malen will meet his old club PSV with ‘BVB’
PSV-Borussia Dortmund will be a special match for Donyell Malen and Bosz. Malen will meet his old club with PSV. The attacker played for PSV from 2017 to 2021 and then left for Germany for 30 million euros. PSV coach Bosz was a trainer in Dortmund for six months in 2017.
