PSV distances itself from Mura after the break and reaches the Europa League play-offs

PSV has qualified for the play-offs of the Europa League. In the Slovenian Murska Sobota, the Eindhoven team were 5-1 too strong for NS Mura, the leader of the Slovenian league.

PSV only needs to win one more round to reach the main tournament of the Europa League. In the play-offs PSV will face Norwegian Rosenborg.

Mura, who did not have to concede a goal in four league matches, started fiercely and defended stiffly but conceded two hits in the first half: Donyell Malen headed home from a free kick by Philipp Max and after the 1-1 (shot by Nino Kouter in the far corner) Mauro Júnior hit, in two instances.

Romero quickly retires

Setback in the first half was the failure of Maxi Romero. The Argentinian got his first starting place at PSV, but had to leave the field after ten minutes with a knee injury.
