PSV seems to be able to welcome a player again in the short term. The people of Eindhoven are in far-reaching negotiations with Toulouse about the arrival of the Ivorian Ibrahim Sangaré, so report WE and the AD Friday evening.
It is reported that an amount of approximately 9 million euros will be involved in the transfer of the 22-year-old Sangaré. The midfielder would already be inspected in Eindhoven on Saturday.
Sangaré must become the preferred partner of Pablo Rosario in midfield at PSV. Earlier in the day, trainer Roger Schmidt already announced that he is still looking for a defensive midfielder and also indicated that a departure from Jorrit Hendrix is still possible.
Sangaré has been under contract with Toulouse since the summer of 2016. So far, the three-time international has played 78 league games, in which he has scored twice.
Last season, Toulouse relegated from Ligue 1. In the current year, Sangaré played the first two league matches, but was no longer in the selection of the French club during the last two matches.
The Ivorian could become the fifth newcomer to PSV during this transfer period. PSV previously strengthened itself with goalkeepers Yvon Mvogo and Vincent Müller, left back Philipp Max and striker Eran Zahavi.
