Figure AA La Nyalla Mahmud Mattalitti are no strangers to the world of football. He has served as administrator and chairman PSSI.
The man who now serves as Chairman of the DPD RI has even renovated the PSSI office, which at that time was still in the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK) area. The funds spent reach billions and that is from personal funds.

La Nyalla Matattalitti is a surprise in this year’s nominations market. His name is rarely mentioned, but suddenly becomes the first person to register as a candidate for the general chairman of PSSI.
The DPD chairman and senator from East Java was a member of the 2011-2015 Exco PSSI. Then, the general chairman of the Indonesian Football Rescue Committee (KPSI) during the PSSI dualism period.
Then served as Vice Chairman of PSSI for the 2013-2015 period. During this period, La Nyalla also served as Chair of the Indonesian Football National Team (BTN).
While serving as Chairman of BTN, La Nyalla succeeded in bringing the U-19 Indonesian National Team to win the 2013 AFF U-19 Cup. Furthermore, La Nyalla served as General Chair of PSSI from 2015 to 2016. La Nyalla served as the highest seat in PSSI after being elected through the PSSI Extraordinary Congress which was held in Surabaya.
