“Obviously, we hope this event will be a high-level event, which is the World Cup qualifiers. heads of world federations and general secretaries of world federations,” Yunus Nusi told journalists at GBK Arena, Friday (25/10/2024).

“And I will communicate with the AFC, our friends are there. We hope that whoever the referee is, we will want to be neutral. Our people are happy with football,” he said. to him.

The appointment of the referee from Oman was considered unfair. Because Oman and Bahrain are both Middle Eastern countries and both speak the same language.

PSSI has complained about the referee’s leadership, but the AFC has ignored it. On the other hand, the AFC immediately responded to the Bahrain Federation (BFA) when they requested that the away match against the Indonesian National Team be moved to a neutral venue.

“Don’t let the neutrality of the referees who lead when Indonesia competes create a bad atmosphere between the two countries. Because our people support football,” said Yunus Nusi .

“So don’t try to send referees who are not neutral, send referees who are not good. Our society is very quick to respond. This is to avoid discomfort between our country and the country of the referee and our alliance to the AFC. ,” he said.
