One of the members of the executive committee PSSI Arya Sinulingga explained the possible questions Indonesian National team against Germany who already have four World Cup titles.
In an event initiated by the PSSI Press in Jakarta, Arya reiterated that PSSI General Chair Erick Thohir wanted the Indonesian National Team to earn points, test mental strength and test their courage in international matches.
Just as Erick said some time ago, the Indonesian national team cannot continue to face opponents like Argentina because they have to improve their ranking on the FIFA ranking list.
Nevertheless, there are plans for PSSI to invite Germany as a match against the Garuda squad in the future.

“Yesterday we talked to Germany, they were okay because we had invited Argentina. But Germany isn’t sure either, we just made an offer. We are good enough on the outside so it’s easier to invite,” explained Arya.
Apart from matters on the field, Arya also explained that there were considerations regarding funding in submitting bids in FIFA match day matches.
“Football must be properly funded. There is no APBN to contribute to us unless there is a championship like the SEA Games. But apart from that we are doing our own business. PSSI must be financially sound and the national team must be empowered so that the quality will be better,” said Arya.
