Chairman of PSSI Erick Thohir comment on disappointment Persebaya Surabaya regarding unilateral decisions PSSI Disciplinary Commission (Komdis). who punished his club with fines because of the fans.
Persebaya Previously he was fined because his supporters came to the PSIS vs Persebaya match on July 16. Bajul Ijo was deemed to have failed to stop his supporters from going to away matches, for which the club was eventually fined Rp. 25 million.
The Persebaya director, Candra Wahyudi, responded to the decision with disappointment. He put it in writing ‘Where is the Komdis Common Sense?’ on the official club website persebaya.id on 21 July 2023.
According to him, the Komdis decision was unilateral because there was no summons for the accused to listen to witness testimony. In fact, in several sentences, the Komdis emphasized that there was no appeal.
Erick Thohir asked to comment on disappointment Persebaya give an explanation. According to him, the existing Komdis is already working as much as possible.
“In this way, in building this, we all need positive interactions with each other, that we form the Komdis and Exco. We have discussions and not only I have all discussed, we have tried to give the best Komdis today,” said Erick while reviewing the selection of the Indonesian U-17 Team in Jakarta, in the Bojongsari area, Saturday (22/7/2023).
“Indeed, the leaders of the Komdis, members of the Komdis, nothing is perfect, but they already want the weekly work which is difficult and there will definitely be consequences. If it’s not good, it’s dislodged. So let’s give everyone a chance to work, because not everything will be finished in one week,” he said.
But, Erick Thohir also said, will not hesitate to provide firm action for Komdis the mischievous
“I also don’t mess around with PSSI, Komdis doesn’t mess around, the referee committee doesn’t play games either, we will bite the naughty ones. But it takes a transition period, everything can’t be finished right away and of course we will punish the referee if there are things that are really not appropriate,” Erick emphasized.
