PSSLEMAN.ID, SLEMAN – PSS Sleman has officially appointed Assistant Coach, Bertrand Crasson as the new PSS Head Coach, Furthermore, Marian Mihail is being considered for the new position as Technical Director.
“In my opinion, Marian is a coach who has strong character and discipline and has shaped the character and discipline of the PSS Sleman players. Crasson’s appointment is also related to the future target of being able to break into a top team, and Mr. Marian also wants to take a break to spend more time with his family,” said President Director of PT Putra Sleman Sembada (PT PSS), Gusti Randa, at Omah PSS, Sleman, Monday. Coach Crasson has a UEFA Pro license and meets the requirements to become a head coach. Crasson has international experience, both as a player and coach. As a player, for example, Crasson is a former Belgian National Team player and once played for Napoli, Italy. Meanwhile, as a coach, he has managed Thai Premier Division clubs, Rachatburi and Inter Pattaya.
“I have spoken directly with Crasson about the targets of PSS Sleman. He is committed to giving the best of his ability. “Management hopes that Crasson will continue the discipline that Coach Mihail has instilled and continue to improve PSS Sleman’s achievements,” he explained.
PSS Sleman management will also improve development at the academy level which currently has 4 teams, namely PSS U-13, U-16, U-18 and U-20.
“The development of the PSS Sleman Football Academy must be carried out in a focused and conceptual manner. “Ideally, the majority of PSS Sleman’s senior players come from the Sleman Football Academy,” he concluded.
