Pulungan explained that the Medan City Government had met with the management PSMS Medan to discuss the use of the Teladan Stadium some time ago. But what was discussed at that time was the agenda for the Governor’s Cup 23-29 July 2022.
“They only asked for permission on the 23rd to the 29th, the Governor’s Cup, the Governor’s Cup, that’s why we also give it to the government,” he explained.
Pulungan reiterated that PSMS Medan did not apply for the use of the Exemplary Stadium for the match against Gumarang FC.
“What is certain is that the permit letter from us did not come in, we also have to confirm with the leadership (Mayor of Medan) as well, this letter does not exist. We don’t know who they asked for permission, or the line judge.”
