FAJAR.CO.ID, MAKASSAR — PSM Makassar has again extended its poor record when competing in the Indonesian League 1 competition for the 2023/2024 season.
Most recently, Dewa United and PSM Makassar had to settle for sharing points after a draw in Week 19 of the Indonesian League 1 competition.
The match between Dewa United and PSM Makassar ended with an equal score of 1-1.
The match between Dewa United and PSM Makassar itself took place at the Indomilk Arena Stadium, Sunday (12/11/2023), at 20.00 WITA.
The goals scored in this match were scored by Majed Osman in the ninth minute before Victor Mansaraya responded in the 29th minute.
PSM Makassar coach, Bernardo Tavares, also said that his team was less successful than its opponent Dewa United. The reason is, the home team doesn’t need many opportunities to score goals.
In contrast to his team, he noted that it took around 3 to 4 chances before finally managing to score a goal.
“At the start of the match, their (Dewa United) first chance immediately resulted in a goal and after 3 to 4 chances and finally we scored our first goal,” said Bernardo Tavares in the press conference session after the match, Sunday (12/11/2023).
He also revealed that being equal at 1-1 in the first half was a fitting result for both teams in this match.
“I think it is important to finish the first half with a score of 1-1,” he explained.
As the match entered the second half, the Portuguese coach gave special praise to his players.
