Two minutes later PSIS Semarang reduced the gap to 1-4 through the execution of a penalty kick by Ramiro Fergonzi. PSIS was sentenced to prison after Wahyu Prasetyo did handsball.
Not satisfied with the 4-1 advantage, PSIS continued to launch attacks. The result Carlos Fortes scored his second goal to bring PSIS ahead 5-1 in the 80th minute.
Substitute Rachmat Hidayat also scored a goal to bring PSIS ahead 6-1 in the 90th minute. The former Bhayangkara FC controlled Wawan Febrianto’s pass and fired a measured kick into the Persita goal.
The score 6-1 lasted until the game was over. This result made PSIS topped the Group A standings above PSS Sleman and Persis Solo, who both only collected 1 point.
