FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA– The increase in votes for the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) in the KPU’s Recapitulation Information System (Sirekap) is in the spotlight.
One of them was uploaded by the @MSMujab22 account on social media X (Twitter). In his upload, in just 2 hours, the number of PSI votes rose drastically.
It can be seen there, at 17.00 WIB, PSI’s vote tally was still at 2,331,716 or around 3.05 percent.
Meanwhile, at 19.00 WIB, PSI’s vote share was 2,351,307 or 3.07 percent.
The party, which is now led by President Joko Widodo’s youngest son, Kaesang Pangarep, increased by 19,591 votes.
“2 Hours added 19k votes from just 110 polling stations,” he wrote, showing a screenshot of the vote tallies for political parties.
“Slow down, boss, I’m tired of making recaps. “How come you added 9K votes in an hour,” he wrote again.
Previously, social media activist, Denny Siregar also highlighted this matter. He admitted that he was surprised by the drastic increase in PSI votes.
“What machine does @psi_id use? In one day it can speed up like crazy from 2.6 percent to now it’s only 3.2 percent… Let’s speed up… while you still have daddy…” quipped Denny on the X account @Dennysiregar7, Saturday (2/3/2024).
