Neymar
How The Parisian reported PSG President Nasser al-Khelaifi and Chelsea owner Todd Boehly have met after the Champions League match between Paris and Bayern to discuss a transfer of superstar Neymar. The Blues appear to be seriously interested in signing the Brazil international.
Reports have surfaced again in recent days that the French champions want to get rid of the 31-year-old. He currently earns around 37 million euros a year, which PSG should no longer be willing to pay. That’s why they are apparently willing to let Neymar go for just 60 million euros. For comparison: Paris once paid 222 million euros for the services of the Seleção star.
Lionel Messi
The Argentine world champion could also leave Paris Saint-Germain in the summer. As the The team reported, Lionel Messi’s extension at PSG is far from certain. The Argentine is unsure, the newspaper reports.
Specifically, there is said to have been a meeting between Messi’s father Jorge and those responsible for PSG. The club want to extend at least another year, but cut Messi’s salary in order to comply with financial fair play.
As an alternative brings The team once again the MLS club Inter Miami for a free transfer of the 35-year-old in conversation. Messi already owns a house in Miami.
Paulo Dybala
The Argentine confirmed the rumored release clause at an AS Roma press conference: “I respect the clause but it’s a matter between my agents and the club. I don’t know what will happen at the end of the season.”

Toni Kroos
The public statements of the 2014 world champion have long suggested this, but so far there have always been back doors. Well he did in his podcast Just lups clear: “I will end my career here, I just don’t know exactly when.” So there will be no further transfer away from Real Madrid for Toni Kroos.

A move from Frenkie de Jong to Manchester United was apparently never an issue. This was reported by FC Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez. “He was very open with me. He wanted to stay with us and had no doubts about it.”

Werder Bremen’s sports director Frank Baumann has apparently landed an American talent. Ethan Kohler is to move from the second division of the USA to the Weser. The transfer is imminent, reports the Bild. There he is under contract with Oakland Roots SC. Kohler actually joined the roots just over a month ago. He previously played for the San Jose Earthquakes Academy team.
Aaron Martin
Christian Heidel, sports director of 1. FSV Mainz 05, was not informed about Aaron Martin’s interest in a change, he explains himself. “The agents and the players did not inform us about it.” Since the Spaniard’s contract is expiring, this is “not absolutely necessary”, Heidel said in the Bild quoted. An extension offer was also “not yet submitted”.
Luca Gotti
The Italian first division club Spezia Calcio has fired coach Luca Gotti. The club is currently in 17th place in Serie A. A successor has not yet been named.
