Laga Paris Saint Germain vs Marseille lasts hot. One of the moments that happened was the host winger, Angel Di Maria, accused of spitting on his opponent.
PSG host Marseille at the Parc des Princes, Monday (9/14/2020) early morning WIB, when playing their second match in Ligue 1 2020/2021. The match was hot.
Referee Jerome Brisard issued 12 yellow cards in the PSG vs Marseille match. At the end of the match, five red cards finally came out of the court’s pocket.
The moment which is the culmination of the heat of the match is the moment Neymar slapped the head of defender Alvaro Gonzalez. The commotion broke out, resulting in five red cards coming out.
Each for PSG three people, namely Neymar, Layvin Kurzawa, and Leandro Paredes. Meanwhile, Marseille received two red cards, namely Jordan Amavi and Dario Benedetto who were sent off by the referee.
Neymar’s row with Alvaro himself reportedly occurred after the home defender was accused of racist remarks. Marseille coach, Andre Villas-Boas not sure his foster children did, by accusing Alvaro of being spat on by Di Maria.
On social media, there are indeed many videos of Di Maria arguing with Alvaro. Although it was not clear Di Maria’s action, Alvaro’s reaction did seem like he was being spat on, by holding his face.
“I do not know. I hope not [Alvaro berbuat rasis], there is no place for racism in football, “Villas-Boas said in an interview with Telefoot.
“It’s a serious mistake if that happens. But I don’t think I did. Previously, we had a situation with Di Maria’s saliva instead.”
“These are things that should be avoided in the world of football. I hope that will not be something that is not revealed in this historic performance,” he hoped.
Marseille itself won 1-0 over PSG in that match. Florian Thauvin scored a goal in the first half. For PSG, this is their second defeat in Ligue 1 2020/2021, after previously being defeated by Lens with a score of 0-1.
