Paris Saint Germain and Real Madrid elbow each other in the round of 16 Champions League. Carlo Ancelotti call this duel as a meeting of two teams of similar style.
First leg Paris Saint-Germain vs Real Madrid will take place at the Parc des Princes, Wednesday (16/2/2022) early morning WIB. Considering the quality of the two teams, this match deserves to be called the morning final.
PSG has a classy squad composition, led by Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and Neymar on the front lines. Meanwhile, Real Madrid have enormous experience in this competition, ruling Europe with 13 titles.
About the game, Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti see both teams have a similar style: attack quickly and directly into the opponent’s defense. Then the details in attack and defense will be the difference.
“We will have to put in a complete performance. I don’t think we will see any big surprises,” said Carlo Ancelotti on the club’s official website.
“PSG will show their quality on the ball and their threat on the counter-attack, the same goes for Real Madrid: dominant in possession and direct attack.”
“We are a similar team and quite easily recognizable in that respect. These two teams have a similar style. If we want to win it, we will have to produce a complete performance both behind and up front,” added the coach who has also worked with PSG.
