French champions PSG are preparing for the departure of mega star Kylian Mbappé (25). The striker will let his contract expire at the end of the season and will most likely move to Real Madrid on a free transfer.
Now Paris is on the hunt for a Mbappé replacement – and could have found one in Manchester.

As the British tabloid “Daily Mirror” reports, the Parisians have targeted Man United star Marcus Rashford (26). The French club is said to be preparing an offer worth almost 90 million euros (75 million pounds).
One thing is clear: PSG boss Nasser Al-Khelaifi (50) is said to be a big fan of the Englishman (59 international matches, 17 goals). The French have already tried to pry Rashford away from United in 2022. However, a weekly salary of 400,000 pounds (approx. 470,000 euros) did not entice the offensive star to move.

Rashford is a Man United homegrown product. At the age of nine he moved to the Red Devils’ youth department and has been playing for the professionals since 2015. Last July he extended his contract until 2028. But he’s having a hard time getting going this season. In 34 competitive games he scored seven goals and six assists.
Recently, Rashford repeatedly caused negative headlines off the pitch. He called in sick for training earlier this year, despite being caught partying hours earlier. Last October there was stress because he celebrated his birthday in a nightclub. The relationship with coach Erik ten Hag (54) is said to be tense.

Al-Khelaifi was already raving about Rashford at the end of 2022, saying shortly before the Englishman’s contract extension: “Rashford is fantastic and available for free? Every club will be after him. Definitely, we’re not hiding it. We’ve spoken before, but it wasn’t a good moment for either side. Maybe in summer? Why not?”
However, United coach Erik ten Hag put a stop to a transfer on Friday: “We didn’t extend Rashford’s contract by four years last year in order to sell him now. He is part of this United project and therefore not something we need to talk about now.”
