However, Ramirez believes the Argentine doesn’t need to play in the North American league to make his mark in the United States.
Speak with Tor, the Charlotte FC manager said that Messi has already helped football to grow in the United States. He said:
“I would tell you that as an impact on society, it is not necessary for Messi to reach MLS. It’s not just the Latino community that comes to the games. Lots of Americans are coming, and more and more boys are playing football (soccer). A paradigm shift has taken place in this country.
