The Brazilian suffered a sprain of his left ankle last Sunday in the game against Olympique Lyon (0-1) when Thiago Mendes fouled. He had previously been absent several times due to a COVID-19 illness, a red card suspension and an adductor injury.
Neymar has nine goals and five assists in twelve competitive games this season. He missed a total of nine games.
