When Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) played against Nantes on Sunday night, Argentine Ángel Di María received an eerie message.
According to ESPN the player’s family had been held hostage during what is being described as a brutal robbery.

Get French Football tweeted Sunday night that PSG are confirming the incident. Just before Dí María was replaced, the club’s sporting director, Leonardo Nascimento de Araújo, was observed in the stands while talking on the phone.
The Parisian reports that the sporting director has asked coach Mauricio Pochettino to replace the Argentine player immediately.
PSG’s Brazilian midfielder, Marquinhos, is also said to have had his home robbed during the match.
ESPN writes that the police have launched an investigation into the cases.
