‘PSG is looking around Feyenoord for replacement Skriniar, but the option is too expensive’

David Hancko is too expensive for Paris Saint-Germain, Foot Mercato and journalist Santi Aouna reported on Monday. The French top club wants to attract a replacement for the injured Milan Skriniar in the short term, but Feyenoord’s center back no longer seems to be an option.
Technical advisor Luis Campos has been tasked by PSG to find a suitable successor for Skriniar. In that context, he contacted Hancko’s management, but Feyenoord is reportedly not prepared to let the Slovakian defender leave this month.
It is not known what asking price Feyenoord uses for Hancko, who is fixed in De Kuip until mid-2028. Transfermarkt currently estimates the value of the 26-year-old man marker at 35 million euros. Hancko has been playing for Feyenoord since 2022 and has now played 69 matches.
Other options
According to Foot Mercato, Campos also has Kevin Danso on his list. The defender of RC Lens, twice an opponent of PSV in the group stage of the Champions League, has also been contacted indirectly. However, Lens does not want to let Danso leave in the meantime.
PSG was also linked in the recent past to Leny Yoro, a talented and only eighteen-year-old defender from Lille OSC. The names of Jean-Clair Todibo (OGC Nice), Antonio Silva (Benfica), Gonçalo Inacio (Sporting Portugal) and Raphaël Varane (Manchester United) have also been discussed.
Skriniar
Skriniar will undergo ankle surgery next week, PSG announced last weekend. An exact recovery period was not mentioned, but according to Foot Mercato he will have to recuperate for at least three to four months after the operation.
The Slovak suffered the injury last Wednesday during the match for the Trophée des Champions, the battle between the French national champion and the cup winner of last season. Skriniar was substituted twenty minutes before time by coach Luis Enrique.
