PSG : Mbappé, Neymar, Di Maria… recovery in the right mood at the camp des Loges

-

Big smiles and little hand signs addressed to the dozen of media and fans who had come to accompany their first steps. The back-to-school was held in the good mood this Monday morning for the players of the PSG. After three months away from the training centre of Saint-Germain-en-Laye, the radiant faces of Thomas Tuchel and his troops have returned to the camp des Loges under a sun of circumstance.

Delighted to return to his base camp, the coach German has been the first (after his staff) to make his appearance at 8: 30 am typing. Relaxed and smiling, the technician opened the ball a long parade. After Leonardo, the sporting director, and his deputy Angelo Castelazzi have crossed the grid shortly before 9 o’clock, it is by regular intervals as the Parisians were here.

First youth : Mbe-Soh, Kalimuendo, Innocent, Pembélé, Bulka and Bakker were the first to come to submit themselves to medical tests and retrieve their equipment. And Then Draxler, Paredes, Herrera, Choupo-Moting, Street Sweepers, Kurzawa, Kimpembe, Icardi, Marquinhos…. for a total of 27 players, who all came to spend a maximum of one hour on the premises.

Arrived shortly after 9: 30 am, Angel Di Maria does not suffer from the debilitating on-the-spot. Fifteen to twenty minutes later, the Argentine had already left the scene. A passing lightning bolt that has not prevented to submit to the imperatives of this first visit devoted to the testing of the Covid-19.

PCR tests to detect positive cases and, for some, such as Keylor Navas, serological tests to detect the possible presence of antibodies. The results will be known in the next few hours. The entire workforce walked away with the health kit provided by the club including a mask adorned PSG.

A new member in the cell performance

Impressed by the new bolide Italian Leandro Paredes, the Spanish Sergio Rico and Pablo Sarabia have them, a few more took their time to talk about mechanics.

Arrived a little later, Marco Verratti and Thiago Silva are, of course, cross or Edinson Cavani or Thomas Miller, the starters some, among the 27 players to be succeeded. After hugs with Marquinhos, Thiago Silva has crossed a new face : that of Maxime Coulerot, the new member of the cell performance.

In charge of the youth teams and reserves since 2008, Coulerot had left Paris to join Monaco in 2016. He returned to the capital four years after, among others, to succeed Martin Buchheit, whose adventure is interrupted with the health crisis. The cell performance will be led by the Italian Gian Nicola Bisciotti, while the medical remains at the expense of Christophe Baudot.

Two friendly matches in the Park ?

Very close to the ground, Kylian Mbappé and Neymar are also on the road. The two stars in paris have closed in the march of the emperors to enter into a hierarchy established (youth to masters and then to the stars), arriving at a minute interval just before 11 o’clock. A near indestructible, since ten minutes later it’s barely, with sixty seconds of discrepancy that the two men took the way back.

This Tuesday and Wednesday, this same group of players will begin a phase of physical tests at the american hospital in duo or trio before returning to the camp des Loges on Thursday for the first training sessions on the lawn. Beyond the friendlies already scheduled against her team of under 19 years (on 8 or 9 July) and le Havre (12 July), the PSG will play one or two friendly matches before the final cuts, probably at the Parc des Princes.
